We’ll be bringing you the latest and upcoming events every month so you’re up to date on all things people can do in the city. So, we figured why let our human residents have all the fun? We’re going to put that list on paws for a moment and ask you to kindly read this list of pet events around Cleveland to your furry friend! We want to make sure EVERYONE can live their doggone best while staying with Smartland and yes, that includes pets. All these events are for or include pets for the month of May 2019.
(ALL events are subject to change… I don’t run ’em, I just report ’em!)
May 4 – Tugs n Kisses
Come join other dog lovers from your area at the Tugs n Kisses Social Mixer! Fun activities, music, and dinner for you and your furry companion. Mingle with others and let your pups do the same! It’s a super fun event your pet will be upset if they miss!
May 5 – Cinco De Mayo Paw-ty
Nothing says fiesta like los perros! It’s a Cinco De Mayo Pawty and admission is free! Food and drink are both available for you and your pet! There’s no better way to celebrate than with you fuzzy friend! Don’t forget to swing by the photo booth so you’ll be able to remember the moment.
May 18 – Poochy Prom
Terrestrial Brewing Co. 7524 Father Frascati @ 4pm
Remember all those warm fuzzy feelings of getting ready for a dance and going out to eat at fancy places, and dancing the night away? Give those feelings to your pet at Poochy Prom! Dress to impress and be ready for some great food and fun for humans and otherwise.
May 18 – Project Pet
Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email Pinot’s Palette a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and they will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”x20” canvas. A talented artist will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!
May 20 and on – Love Your Pet 5k & 10k
Cleveland @ 1pm
This is a virtual race! That means you choose to complete your 5k or 10k and submit your time to Moon Joggers! Also, they will be donating 15% of every single registration to Petsmart Charities! There’s no reason not to register and submit.
May 23 – Sugar Skull Your Pet Paintings
Is there a cooler art medium than sugar skulls? How about PET sugar skulls? Submit your form on which style animal you want and then learn and apply the traditional sugar skull style of painting to create your masterpiece.
